Energy-Efficient 808nm 200mW Laser Diode for Solid State Laser Pumping

Photonic Products, the UK optoelectronics device manufacturer and laser diode specialist, is delighted to announce the launch of a new laser diode from Sanyo, the DL-LS2075, which offers high beam quality and laser performance with exceptional CW optical output power of 200mW at a lasing wavelength of 808nm.

The single longitudinal mode and fundamental transverse mode performance of this 808nm laser makes it an ideal, energy efficient excitation source for solid-state YAG lasers, used to generate 532nm "green" laser outputs. It is also suitable as a high power light source in therapeutic medical equipment and scientific equipment and also in free space optical communications.

Supplied in a 5.6mm package with N type common cathode pin configuration, the Sanyo DL-LS2075 single longitudinal mode 808nm laser diode has an optical output power of 200mW CW, fundamental transverse mode, low threshold current of 50mA, typical operating current of 230mA, operating voltage of 2.0V, monitoring output current of 0.5mA, differential efficiency of 1.2mW/mA at an operating temperature range of -10 degrees Centigrade to +50 degrees Centigrade.
