SANYO GaAIAs index guided multi quantum well (MQW) infrared laser diodes with low threshold currents in the infrared (invisible) 782nm to 830nm wavelength range, with powers up to 200mW.
SANYO high power infrared laser diodes are available in 5.6mm, 9mm and frame type packages with 'N', 'M' & 'P' type pin configurations.
The new SANYO DL-8142-201 830nm high power laser diode with optical output power of 150mW is supplied in a 5.6mm package which is easier to manufacture than the 9mm package diode which it replaces, resulting in a lower cost laser diode.
It has a lower aspect ratio than its predecessor, which gives improved typical beam divergence of 16 degrees, making this SANYO diode ideal for use in night vision, distance measurement and printing. It is also suitable for use as a light source in applications where the high optical power output combined with the small package size is critical.
All SANYO laser diodes are lead (pb) free in compliance with the RoHS Directive.

laser diodes and 9mm dia. package laser diodes will be discontinued. The last time order date
is May 30th 2008 and no orders will be accepted after May 30th 2008. The last time delivery
date is December 26th 2008 and no discontinued laser diodes will be shipped after December 26th
2008.
